An Italian oil vessel’s elderly designer that purposely concealed that the vessel had discharged oily waste into the sea was sentenced to prison time and also fined. Girolamo Curatolo, of Sicily, was sentenced to 8 months in jail after begging guilty in government court in Newark in August. He was purchased to pay a $ 5,000 penalty.
